H.ASADA was born in Japan in 1980. He majored in sound engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) before moving to Cremona, Italy. After moving to Cremona, he trained in violin making school with Wanna Zambelli and restoration with Alessandro Voltini, Claudio Amigetti. 

 Upon returning to Japan, he developed a deeper understanding of acoustics in violin making to gained knowledge of the latest science in the industry as an acoustic engineer. Through such efforts, he obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in violin research.

 He continues to challenge and refine his skills by participating in workshops and events both domestically and internationally, such as the international competition hosted by the Violin Society of America (VSA) and the Oberlin Acoustic Workshop.
